Benjamin GEORGEAUD

Benjamin Georgeaud is a French sculptor born in 1980. He discovered sculpture during his first trip to Florence at the age of 15. After obtaining his high school diploma, he devoted himself fully to his art.

Artistic Training 

Benjamin Georgeaud's artistic training is a unique patchwork of experiences. He attended Zoltan Zsako's workshops and took modeling and drawing evening classes at the Beaux-Arts courses offered by the Paris city hall. This hybrid training reflects his determination and commitment to mastering his craft.

Career and Exhibitions 

In 2002, Benjamin Georgeaud exhibited his work to the public for the first time at the Salon des Artistes of the 15th arrondissement of Paris, where he received the Special Jury Prize. Since then, he has created his own studio in Paris and has been based in Montreuil since 2010.

Works and Recognition 

Benjamin Georgeaud is known for his portraits, bas-reliefs, and sculptures on the theme of the circus. His works, often very evocative, convey a blend of strength and elegance. In 2009, he received the “Géant des Beaux-Arts” Prize for his bronze sculpture titled “The Pain of Nausicaa.” In 2012, he was awarded the Bronze Medal of the Société des Artistes Français at the Grand Palais. Benjamin Georgeaud is also the official creator of the trophy for the International Circus Festival of Viège in Switzerland.

His favorite themes include portraits, bas-reliefs, and circus-themed sculptures. His works are often very evocative, conveying a blend of strength and elegance.
